Dr. B. Nagamuni Asst Professor in Physical Education AU, Annamacharya University, Rajampet
Brief Bio-dataDr. Bokkasam Nagamuni hails from Y Kota, Obulavaripalli Mandal, Annamayya District. He has been working as Assistant Professor in Physical Education in the Department of Humanities and Sciences since 2003 at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences Rajampet now as Annamacharya University. He pursued his Ph. D. from Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University.
Dr. B. Nagamuni has an extensive history of serving as a team manager and coach for various sports teams affiliated with JNTUA (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapurmu) over the years. Starting with the basketball team in the academic year 2010-11, he subsequently took on coaching and managerial responsibilities for the chess team in 2011-12 and 2012-13, the ball badminton team in 2013-14 and 2015-16, the handball team in 2014-15, and the judo teams in 2014 to 2021.
Dr. Nagamuni also managed the chess team in 2021-22. In the current academic year, he acted as the team manager and coach for the JNTUA ball badminton team, and additionally, he also took on the role of managing and coaching the wrestling team as well. Dr. B. Nagamuni has been on the JNTUA sports Board Executive council Member from 2021 to till date; He is also the Organizing Secretary for Ball Badminton Association of Kadapa District.
Dr. B. Nagamuni actively Participated in Number of FDP’S, Seminars, Conference held at both national and International levels on physical education He published Number of articles on physical education. Under his Guidance’s number of Medals appreciations secured in JUDO, WRESTLING AND ATHLETICS. This diverse range of responsibilities showcases his long-standing and varied commitment to coaching and managing sports teams within our university.
