The Department of ECE, established an Antrix Association which plays a important role in enhancing the academic and extracurricular activities for students. The association is essentially student-led bodies or organizations that focus on various aspects of the academic and professional development within a specific engineering discipline.
Key Functions and Benefits:
- Organize events that provide additional learning opportunities outside the standard curriculum, such as guest lectures, hands-on workshops, and seminars by industry professionals.
- Encourage the students to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical problems.
- Facilitate interactions with alumni, industry experts, and professionals through events and networking sessions.
- Provide information on internships, placements, and career planning, often collaborating with career services and industry partners.
- Plan and execute social events, such as tech fests, cultural activities, and team-building exercises, fostering a sense of community among students.
- Allow students to take on leadership roles, helping them develop management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Offer additional study materials, resources, and peer support to help students with their coursework and projects.
- Act as a conduit for student feedback on academic programs and departmental issues, helping to address concerns and improve the overall learning experience.
