Anti-Drug Awareness Program Successfully Organized at Annamacharya University, Rajampet

The NSS unit of Annamacharya University, Rajampet, successfully organized an Anti-Drug Awareness Program today. The event was graced by Excise Circle Inspector Mallika Madam as the chief guest. In her address, Mallika Madam highlighted the detrimental effects of drug usage on personal, family, and social life. She urged the youth to lead a healthy lifestyle and stay away from drugs. She emphasized that combating the menace of drugs requires legal measures, public participation, and collective societal efforts to achieve a drug-free community.

Principal of Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS), S.M.V. Narayana, called upon students to refrain from drugs and embrace their social responsibilities to play a pivotal role in nation-building. NSS Coordinator Dr. L. Obulapathi, who coordinated the event, explained the importance of NSS-led social awareness initiatives. Slogans like “Say No to Drugs,” “Drugs Destroy Lives,” and “Protect Your Life, Stay Drug-Free” inspired and created awareness among the students. Active student participation and the support of faculty and staff made the program a resounding success.
