A two-day workshop on “Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems” was conducted by the Department of Mechanical engineering, Annamacharya University, Rajampet, on October 07th & 8th, 2024.
Mr. K. Raja Shekar, the founder and managing director of RITE Academy, participated as a prominent guest and discussed the future of HVAC systems.
In his keynote address, Mr. Shekar elaborated on the significance of HVAC systems in enhancing energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and comfort in buildings. He highlighted that well-designed HVAC systems can aid in sustainable development by reducing energy consumption and minimizing environmental impact.
Mr. Raja Shekar conducted a session on designing air conditioning systems for various applications including hospitals, industries, and shopping malls. He provided practical insights into the various aspects necessary for designing HVAC systems. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning and adaptation in this rapidly evolving field.
The program also included workshops and interactive sessions, allowing students and professionals to gain experience and insights from industry leaders. Mr. Shekar also discussed job opportunities in the heating and ventilation sector. The event was attended by Registrar, Dr. K. Mallikarjuna, Principal, Dr. S.M.V. Narayana, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. A. Hemantha Kumar, faculty members and students.
