Annamacharya University has been striving to develop itself into an excellence in education and research in consonance with the contemporary and future needs of the society through meaningful education, research and leadership in technological innovation for the industrial growth of the country. It has a University research board to monitor the research activities. The main objective is to maintain the quality and breadth of its research, and particularly for its openness to multi-disciplinary research. The R&D cell facilitates interaction with external agencies at national & international level. By looking at changing requirements of industry, to ensure that we hold on to our position at the cutting edge of innovation by encouraging inter-disciplinary research.

With the path-breaking innovations in both its curriculum and research, the university is rapidly gaining a good reputation among the Universities at nation. The R & D Cell facilitates interaction with experts and eminent personalities from external agencies like Institutions of national importance, reputed universities and reputed R&D laboratories at national level. The research philosophy is to have inter university partnerships at national and international levels.
