Dear Students and Faculty,
I am pleased to share an overview of the achievements and offerings of our esteemed Mechanical Engineering Department.
We prioritize student success, reflected in their placements in diverse industries. Our B.Tech. program offers flexibility with elective courses, providing exposure to various specializations. Additionally, skill courses, seminars, and industrial visits prepare students for successful job placements.
Our department also offers unique opportunities, such as a ‘Dual Degree Course’ with RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Students interested in exploring beyond Mechanical Engineering can pursue a Minor Degree in other specializations.
For academic excellence, our Mechanical Engineering students have the option to enroll in the Honors Programme, earning a “B.Tech. (Honors Degree).” Our M.Tech. program in “Machine Design” emphasizes research and development.
