Event Name: Candlelight Rally and Condolence Meeting for Victims of the Pahalgam Terror Attack

Annamacharya University, Rajampet, organized a candlelight rally and condolence meeting to pay tribute to the innocent civilians who lost their lives in the recent Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir. Students, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and university officials observed a two-minute silence before participating in a candlelight march from the University Auditorium to the main gate, conveying a strong message of peace and unity against terrorism. Dr. E. Sai Baba Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, condemned the inhuman act of terrorism and urged students to uphold humanitarian values, patriotism, and social responsibility. The programme was attended by Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Rao, Registrar, Dr. S.M.V. Narayana, Principal (AITS), principals of constituent colleges, heads of departments, faculty members, students, and staff, who also expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
