The Department of Physiotherapy, College of Allied Health Sciences, Annamacharya University, organized a Free Physiotherapy Camp at Z.P. High School, Tallapaka Village, Rajampet, on 8 September 2026 as part of the World Physiotherapy Day celebrations. A rally was also conducted to create awareness about the role of physiotherapy in the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The camp provided free physiotherapy assessment, treatment guidance, rehabilitation advice, and health awareness to the local community, particularly for people with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Faculty members and students actively participated in the programme, promoting awareness about pain management, rehabilitation, prevention of disability, physical activity, and improving quality of life. The programme was a successful community outreach initiative that highlighted the importance of physiotherapy in maintaining health and promoting rehabilitation.
