NCC Selections for Female Students at Annamacharya University, Rajampet
Annamacharya University, Rajampet, successfully conducted the NCC (National Cadet Corps) selections for female students for the academic year 2024-25. The event was honored by the presence of Commanding Officer Colonel Anuj Wadwa, Subedar Singar Singh, and Havildar Ramesh, who oversaw the mental and physical fitness tests for the students. Out of 200 participants, 90 students were selected based on their outstanding performance in the rigorous fitness tests. During the event, the NCC B certificates were awarded to the students who were selected last year in recognition of their excellent performance in the SKILL TEST.
The selection ceremony was graced by University Chancellor Dr. Choppa Gangireddy garu, College Vice Chairman Choppa Yella Reddy garu, Pro-Chancellor Choppa Abhishek Reddy garu, Dean School of Engineering Dr. S. MV Narayana, Registrar Dr N. Mallikharjuna Rao garu and faculty members, who applauded the students’ achievements. The event also saw the participation of Physical Director Dr. B. Nagamuni, CTO N. Deepthi, and the newly selected NCC students, marking a proud moment for the university and its commitment to fostering leadership and discipline among its students.
B.Tech Orientation Programme at Annamacharya University on 26th July
The B.Tech Orientation Programme for the academic year 2024-25 was successfully conducted on 26th July 2024 at Annamacharya University. The event marked the beginning of a new academic journey for the first-year engineering students and was graced by the esteemed presence of University Chancellor Dr. Choppa Gangireddy, College Vice Chairman Choppa Yella Reddy, College Principal Dr. S. MV Narayana, Registrar N. Mallikharjuna Rao, along with the Heads of the Departments and other deans.
The orientation programme provided an overview of the university’s values, academic expectations, and the support systems in place for students. The dignitaries addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of excellence in their engineering careers. They also highlighted the university’s commitment to providing a holistic education that combines academic rigor with personal development.
