Central Library

The library of the Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences was established in the year 14.06.1998 with 2384 volumes of Text Books and Reference Books of various titles under the Annamacharya Educational Trust, Rajampet with good atmosphere.

The Central Library has located in the 1st Floor of P.G Block an area of 815 sqmtrs. with a reading capacity of 260. It has specialized collections of books, journals & other resources in Mathematics & Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences and Management ranging from printed books, e- books, back volumes and CDs/DVDs. The Central Library subscribes to national and international journals in print and e-Journals. The Central Library is using Insproplus software for Library automation and smooth functioning of Library operations.

Librarian

Sri. S. Chenna Reddy, M.A., M.L.I.Sc., B.Ed, M.Phil is heading the Library. To bring high standards to the library services, he has attended many seminars and workshops which focused on library Automation and to improve the user needs.

Book Borrowing/Circulation policy will help and support to the library users for their academic and teaching learning activities with friendly environment.
Circulation counter is open at 09.00 A.M. and closed on 06.00 P.M. in all working days.
No counter operations on Sundays, 2^nd Saturdays and Public Holidays.
Reference Books, News Papers, Magazines, Journals and Back Volumes should not be taken out.
Project reports and CD/DVD’S are not for lending.
Books will be issued subject to availability.
More than one renewal is not permitted.

B.Tech, MCA and MBA Students : 3 Books
M.Tech Students : 4 Books
Research Scholars : 5 Books
If the book due date falls on holiday of the library, the next working day will be taken as the due date.
The borrower is responsible for any loss or non – return of any books issued against his/her original (or) duplicate card.
Over – due date charges will be collected from the students and research scholars the books are not returned by them on due date.
Faculty members are permitted to barrow the books for a semester.

Working Hours

Library working hours: 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on all working days.
Circulation Counter Operations: 9.00 am to 6.00 pm on all working days.
On Sundays, 2nd Saturdays and public holidays: 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.
No counter operations on Sundays, 2nd Saturdays and public holidays.
