Annamacharya University, Rajampet, in collaboration with NSS and Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Clinic, organized an awareness rally on Thursday to mark World Sight Day. Following the rally, free eye check-ups were conducted for students, along with necessary advice and recommendations. Dr. Santosh Agarwal from the Eye Clinic emphasized that vision impairments should not be neglected, as early medical consultation can prevent further complications. He advised students to seek medical advice at the initial stages of vision problems for better outcomes.

University Registrar Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Rao highlighted that consuming a nutritious diet can help prevent vision impairments. He expressed gratitude to the experts from Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Clinic for their valuable advice and services. The event was graced by Vice Chairman Choppala Yella Reddy, Principal Dr. S.M.V. Narayana, NSS In-charge Dr. L. Obulapathi, EEE Department Head Dr. M. Padmalalitha, Dr. B.P. Chennayya, and EEE NSS In-charge T. Arun Kumar, along with faculty members and students who actively participated in the program.
