The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Annamacharya University organized a “No Iron Day,” during which students and staff attended without ironing their clothes. The event aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of saving electricity.

Chancellor Dr. C. Gangi Reddy, Pro-Chancellor Dr. C. Abhishek Reddy, Vice-Chairman C. Yella Reddy, Registrar Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Rao, Principal Dr. S.M.V. Narayana, and EEE Department Head Dr. M. Padma Lalitha appreciated the initiative. They emphasized that saving energy is everyone’s responsibility to protect the planet. Their perspective highlighted that small changes in daily habits can significantly contribute to energy conservation and environmental protection.
