A blood donation camp was organized at Annamacharya University, Rajampet, on Thursday under the supervision of the Central Tax Department, in. The event was attended by V. Venkatesh, IRS, Assistant Commissioner of Central Tax, B. Shyamasundar Raju, Inspector, B. Srinivasulu, Inspector, G. Manikantha, HP Engineer, Kadapa District, and G. Shivashankar Reddy and Dr. S.K. Ansar Basha from the Red Cross Society. Students of Annamacharya University participated enthusiastically in the camp, resulting in the collection of 102 units of blood.

Following the event, the college’s Vice Chairman, Choppa Ellareddy, praised the students for their significant participation, emphasizing that donating blood can save lives in emergency situations. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives and encouraged everyone to contribute to saving lives by donating blood. Principal Dr. S.M.V. Narayana also spoke on the occasion, noting that donating blood is beneficial for one’s health and that there are no adverse effects from doing so. He urged the youth to donate blood freely to help those in need. The event also saw the participation of NSS Coordinator Dr. L. Obulapathi, Physical Director Dr. B. Nagamuni, NSS Caretaker Officer N. Deepthi, faculty members, and students.
