Event Name: Inauguration of Annamacharya University Law College

Annamacharya University (AU) formally inaugurated its Law College in a grand ceremony attended by distinguished dignitaries, legal professionals, faculty members, students, and parents. The event was graced by Mr. S. Praveen Kumar, III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajampet, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. P. Hanumantha Naidu, President of the Rajampet Bar Association and Senior Advocate, as the Guest of Honour. University officials including Chancellor Dr. C. Gangi Reddy, Vice-Chancellor Dr. E. Sai Baba Reddy, Vice-Chairman Mr. C. Yella Reddy, and Registrar Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Rao participated in the inaugural function.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest emphasized the importance of legal education, the responsibilities of legal professionals, and the need for every citizen to possess a basic understanding of law. He highlighted the role of legal knowledge in strengthening governance, promoting justice, and reducing corruption in public administration. The Guest of Honour described the establishment of the Law College as a landmark achievement for the region and emphasized that legal education serves as a powerful instrument for ensuring justice in society. University leaders spoke about the significance of law in promoting ethical values, social responsibility, equality, and good governance. They encouraged the first batch of students to become role models and contribute positively to society through legal knowledge and professional excellence.
