National Recognition for Annamacharya Engineering College in SWAYAM NPTEL Certification Courses

Rajampet: Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences (AITS), Rajampet, has achieved national recognition for the outstanding performance of its students in the SWAYAM NPTEL certification courses. As part of the prestigious initiative jointly offered by IITs and IISc with support from AICTE, the college has earned an ‘AA’ ranking for the academic year 2024–2025 (Odd Semester), which stands as a proud achievement. A total of 2,240 students appeared for the NPTEL certification examinations and excelled with remarkable performance, securing the institution a top position.

Among the students, 98 were recognized as SWAYAM course toppers, 48 received Gold Medals, 560 secured Silver Medals, and many others received Elite Certificates. These achievements reflect the college’s consistent efforts in preparing students to meet modern technological advancements and industry requirements.

Dr. N.M.V. Narayana, Principal of AITS, Rajampet, extended his congratulations to the students and lauded their success as a continuation of the college’s legacy. He remarked that this ranking is a result of the institution’s dedication to enhancing educational standards.

The felicitation event was hosted by IIT Madras, where Dr. Kishore Kumar Nandyala (SPOC – Single Point of Contact, AITS, Rajampet) received the ‘AA’ Ranking Award on behalf of the institution. On this occasion, Dr. N. Mallikarjuna, Registrar of Annamacharya University, expressed immense pride in the college achieving the ‘AA’ ranking for the seventh consecutive time. He highlighted that such success reflects both the capabilities of the students and the institution’s commitment to academic excellence.
