The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences (now Annamacharya University) is organizing a one-week hands-on workshop on “Basic Electronics” from 22nd to 26th October 2024. The workshop, held in the ECE Computer Lab, aims to provide foundational knowledge and practical exposure to core concepts in electronics. It is supported by Virtual Labs, an MHRD Government of India initiative, and designed to enhance the understanding of basic electronic components and circuits through hands-on activities. This workshop offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical skills and build a strong technical base in electronics, essential for advanced learning and industry readiness.

The event is guided by the Chief Patrons, including Dr. C. Gangi Reddy, Hon. Secretary of AET, and Dr. S.M.V. Narayana, Principal of AITS, Rajampet. The program is convened by Dr. M. Subba Rao, Dean of Student Affairs, and Dr. CH. Nagaraju, Professor and HOD of ECE. Technical coordination is led by Dr. Fahimuddin Shaik, Dr. C. Venkatesh, B. Umakanth, K. Chandrahasa Reddy, and P. Ramesh Babu, all faculty members from the ECE Department. Dr. K. Riyazuddin, Associate Professor, serves as the organizing secretary, supported by the organizing committee comprising all faculty members of the ECE Department. This initiative reflects the institution’s dedication to fostering technical excellence and practical learning among students.
