Under the auspices of Annamacharya University, a tree planting program was organized by the NCC Unit of Rajampet with the motto “Vriksho Rakshati Rakshitah” (The tree protects those who protect it). The event was graced by Dr. S. M. V. Narayana, Principal of Annamacharya University, who attended as the chief guest. Other notable attendees included G. Ramesh Kumar Reddy, Principal of Sri Gangireddy Degree College, Dr. B. Nagamuni, Physical Director of Annamacharya University, AITS NCC Caretaker Officer, N. Deepthi, and AITS Assistant PD, S. Saifulla, along with NCC students.

The program highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and the crucial role that trees play in maintaining ecological balance. The participants, including students and faculty, actively took part in planting saplings across the campus, reflecting their commitment to preserving nature. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among students towards environmental protection and sustainable development.
