Special Program on "Successful Teaching-Learning & Research Practices" at Annamacharya University

Annamacharya University, Rajampet, organized a grand special program titled “Successful Teaching-Learning & Research Practices.” The event was attended by the university’s Chancellor, Dr. C. Gangi Reddy, Pro-Chancellor, Mr. C. Abhishek Reddy, Registrar, Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Rao, along with Deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), and the teaching faculty.
The chief guest for the program was Professor Y.V.S.S.S.V. Prasada Rao, Director of Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology (VBIT), Hyderabad. Addressing the gathering, Professor Prasada Rao delivered an inspiring talk on “Successful Teaching-Learning.” He emphasized, “Teachers are the architects of students’ futures. They should transform from mere instructors to motivators. Modern teaching methods like design thinking and blended learning are essential for enhancing teaching effectiveness. Teachers must focus not only on imparting knowledge but also on fostering students’ skills and critical thinking.”

Abhishek Reddy urged teachers to take the lead in adopting innovative practices in teaching-learning processes. Registrar Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Rao stressed the necessity of these programs to shape a brighter future for students.
The event witnessed active participation from Deans, HODs, and faculty members, who shared their experiences and engaged in discussions on the use of modern technology and innovative teaching methods. Dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the program not only paved new pathways for the university’s academic endeavors but also served as a source of inspiration for the faculty.
